Dr. King’s many publications as an adult educator researcher, author, and conference presenter were identified as foundational to the leadership in NYACCE. Dr. King said about the award, “NYACCE has been a vital part of my career and development as a researcher because it has given me the opportunity to continue to be enmeshed in the issues of practice and weave them with research and theory; this could not have happened anywhere else. Most of all I appreciate that NYACCE recognizes my love to teach any and all adults and my identity with their role as adult educators.
